The RX1 exhaust valve control for the BMW M2 G87 offers three fixed modes via remote control – from "100% open" to "100% closed". Reversible and vehicle-specific integration – for maximum sound flexibility on private property.

The RX1 remote control offers three clear modes – no guesswork required:
Mode 1: Flaps 100% open – extremely loud
Mode 2: Flap control in standard mode (open/close as OEM)
Mode 3: Flaps 100% closed
Note: Driving at full throttle in mode 3 is not recommended .

Am I allowed to use the RX1's exhaust valve control in road traffic?
No. Simply using the valve control is illegal on public roads. Use is permitted only on private property .
How do the modes differ?
Mode 1: 100% open (extremely loud) · Mode 2: as standard · Mode 3: 100% closed.
Why is full throttle not recommended in mode 3?
With the flaps permanently closed, exhaust back pressure can increase. Therefore, we recommend Mode 3 only for short, appropriate situations on private property – not for continuous load/full throttle.
